Taiwan’s first aboriginal Latin rap band, BOXING fuses Latin, rock’n’roll and hip hop as their primary style. The six band members are 3 sets of brothers from Pingtung’s Payuan Tribe, all with a boxing background. Previously called “SE Band”, BOXING has been performing in various major music events & festivals since its founding in 2010. In 2012, spotted and admired by the singer A Mei, they became the only guest band to perform in all nine performance of A Mei’s AMeiZING world tour. On October 31 2014, BOXING released their Payuan album, “Wild BOXING” and Chinese Mandarin album, “Boxing”. The former was nominated for awards in such categories as the Best Newcomer, the Best Band, the best Aboriginal Language Album of the 26th Golden Melody Awards. BOXING eventually won the Best Newcomer Award.

Airy and The End World Party are a 5-person band formed in Taiwan in late 2016 with Airy as the creative core. Their ultimate goal is to launch a massive sound-bite attack armed with addictive dance beats and original GROOVE musical splendor geared as the inceptive artillery for the year-2017 occupation feat unfolding to colonize your body and all your nerve system. Airy and The End World Party are more than a music band. They hope to bring to the audience contagious dancing energy and the most primitive elation through each performance, for which Taiwan’s outstanding Crossover fans are also invited, so that this type of original music can reach a wider audience.

We have been to the 2014 Ho-Hai-Yan Gongliao Rock Festival as one of the finalists, and has won the competition in the Casio Music Festival. Soon enough, people will be listening to our music and will know us by the name of Savakan.

In late 2003, Tang Yun Huan (a.k.a. Dong Dong) released his debut Hakka album “Speak your love” carrying colloquial easy-to-understand lyrics in catchy breezy pop tunes, popular with urban youths and called by the media as the “Urban Hakka Singer”. His next album, “Dumb beats from a distance” released in 2004 carries a profound Hakka consciousness and has received wide reception and resonance with listeners. The album has also won Dong Dong the Best Hakka Singer Award (of the 16th Golden Melody Awards). Besides music, he is often seen as a presenter on Hakka TV shows such as “Healthy cooking for a healthy life”, “Crazy about Hakka music” and so on, hoping to highlight the Hakka language often deemed by most people as rarely useful and convey the beauty of Hakka language to the general public and particularly to the younger crowds. As someone from the younger generation to enter the Hakka music creation, Dong Dong cares the most about music diversity, yearning for the Hakka language can stand aligned to pop music or even confront and surpass it. He starts with a rock’n’roll style and go further to enrich the Hakka melodies.

Nocturnal UrbanCat often jam in the nighttime café, using acoustic guitar, double bass, drums, plus vocals by the Hakka-speaking female lead singer, streaming together their unique music notes and melodies, full of rustic flavors and narrative allure of contemporary adult fairy tales, making it hard to categorize UrbanCat. Their natural harmonious melodies and laid-back voice singing in the soon-to-be-extinct Hakka dialogue make for refreshing folk music for all you urban souls.

From the first album, “Pubescent Legumes”, brimming with sunshine youthful energy, to their second album, psychedelic and multi-faceted “Floyd’s Solo Dance”, and the third album, mature and mellow “Guardian”, their works have undergone much metamorphosis, expressing the co-existence of conflicts and emotions, murmuring words of human stories to listeners. La Petite Nurse express their authentic selves to this incongruent world via music. Their fourth album, Influenza, recorded in the studio, is an attempt at creating a brand new ambience, encompassing Lo-Fi, Space-Rock, Math-Rock, Post-Rock and Synth-Rock, so that the entire album sounds like a dazzling splendid independent film.

Absolutely entertaining and cheerful are the key buzz words for Tai-Ko Electro Co.’s live performance targeting a mission of delivering “pure entertainment” to the audience through each and every performance. Meanwhile they intend to re-acquaint the youngsters in Taiwan with the beauty of the Taiwanese language, hoping those whose Taiwanese is getting rusty will eventually fall in love with the language again.

Featuring pop rock, Suitcase is a rare 3-man band in Taiwan, including Shiziwan as the vocalist, Cheng Long as the bassist and Naien as the guitarist, the latter two being childhood pals. All in their 20s, they each started out as musicians, came together as a band on the strength of friendship, their love for music and a vision for the future. Assisted by a famed manager, they released their debut album, Love Till I Die this October to mark their official induction into the music industry. All three members are creators, great at writing personal experience into the contemporary love discourse, vocalizing the musical solace for those love-struck young men.

Taiwan Soul formed in 2011 consists of Xiao Le as the band leader & keyboard player, Hong Zhong as the vocalist, Wei Xuang as the guitarist, Li Yi as the bassist, and Ah ken as the drummer.
Taiwan Soul hopes to bring all the joy and sorrow, ups and downs in life to listeners through their music. They keep trying at various music styles with resilience. The word “Soul” in the band name marks their point of departure, from which they set out to be free spirits and create happy uplifting music that one can dance to while shaking off loneliness and realizing life comes in all kinds of flavors.
Jindowin consists of six people, including three rockers from South Africa, the US and Spain, two seasoned Taiwanese rock’n’roll players and one rookie rock’n’roll lass. What chemistry got them together and what music will they create together? Words like electro pop, rap, funk, rock’n’roll can no longer describe the band, so they go for a name that is both local and fashionable and suggestive of their wondrous music skills.
