Address Xinzhuang

Located on Xinzhuang Street, this temple is dedicated to the Land God and his divine wife, flanked by a pair of civil and military judges. The Fude Temple was paid for and built by local people, but the date of its establishment can no longer be traced exactly, but from chronological temple records regarding incense burning it seems to have been during the Qianlong Emperor’s Xinchou reign year (1781) of the Qing Dynasty, about 233 years ago. This makes this Fude Temple in Xinzhuang the oldest of the country.

According to records, the temple has been repaired four times, in the eighth year of Guangxu (1882), the 41st year of the Republic of China (1952), the 65th year of the Republic of China (1976), and the 83rd year of the Republic of China (1994).
